There is 1 question im sure everyone wants answere, that helps further
my opinion on how twisted America, our government really is...why do
they hate Obama?
-Do they hate Obama cause they fear that he will correct what's been
corrupted?
-Is it that if he just so happens to correct what's been corrupted, they
don't wanna give credit to a black man once again for his great
efforts? I mean sports, inventions, style, swag, sound, music....our
overall culture is unique and most of all superior when in comparison to
our adversaries. We have given so much to this government and country,
and in turn, all they've ever done is find a way to take from "the
people" to become more wealthy.
-Do the republicans really think Palin do a better job than Obama? Lets
not forget, Palin wasn't running for president. She seems to be riding
Barack's spotlight by hating on him publicly, trying to make herself
look better. Palin has never served a full term as governer and she has
the audacity to even speak. She's like an ameture fighter trying to go
in the ring, for the 1st time, against Floyd Mayweather.
-Who do they want running this country? I'll tell you...they want
another person running this outfit that doesn't give a damn about
you!!!!

I'll wrap this up by saying, if they were all about being
"pro-American", then they should work harder to support the President of
the Uninted States.
-AGAIN!!! THIS WAS NEVER SARAH PALIN'S BATTLE. SHE wasn't even running
for president....vice president and that's not something you win alone.
That glory would have gone to McCain anyway if he was worthy enough!!!

WINSTON-SALEM HOME COOKIN'!!!

To "The Nobodies"
There are several rap crews from my city (Winston-Salem,NC), but one
main braid of Emcees were full of craft and courage, as they laid down
the ground work/ foundation for all other rap groups from
Winston-Salem...come to think about it NC hiphop overall. I remember
when I left the nest to venture out into this world. I was like any
other teen who strayed away....hustlin, selling', scratching and
survivn. I lived on Apple Street fortunately, and I was known as "Sonny
G". I was a monster at 16 down to battle anybody...young or old.
At that time I was inspired by a brother from a group known as "The
Nobodies" named Maalik Clinton pka "Apocolypse da Mind Bender" now known
as "Seven", who I discovered lived a couple doors down at the time. He
and his partna Equinox had just completed one of Winston-Salem's 1st
real rap video for a single they released entitled "Hiphop". I remember
how I felt the day I was in my 1st cypher with "The Nobodies". I raised
their brows for a hot 16 or 2 as we exchanged with each other in front
of small crowds....I thought I would never win with these guys. 2 weeks
after meeting this duo in person, I was invited to a show, VIP status,
that they were opening up for "The Roots"...and fortunate as I was,
after the show I found myself in a rap cypher with both member of "The
Nobodies" and "Black Thought"!!! (Wow). After getting to know my brother
"Seven", we found that we were both Gods affiliated with the 5% Nation.
Im tellin' yall...this brother has substance. But yesterday in my blog
about "Hootie Mack" I almost forgot to mention my man, my brother, my
fellow God...Seven.
Seven has had many releases and is no stranger to any cypher. Excuse
me....some of yall may be thinkn,"cypher? Nobody does that anymore".
Well you're wrong. This is real hiphop here. And when I use the word
cypher, its just to further solidify that my man "Seven" and "Equinox"
are true NC legends and pioneers. Peace brothers. WE GONE MAKE IT!!!

talkn' about pioneers of rap in the city we from, Winston-Salem, NC, and
a few good names were mentioned, but really folks, me and Hootie Mack
were two of the 1st, most frequent of MCs callin in every night to
battle anyone...even each other. Needless to say my brother Hootie
said," Ree, drop a line expressing how you feel about hiphop, radio,
niggas ridin' dick in hiphop, selling themselves", so I was inspired to
share with yall exactly how I feel. SHOUTS TO MY G AND REAL
WINSTON-SALEM PIONEER!!!!HOOTIE MACK!!!!! Love you bra...We gone make
it.

A note for you

Lately I been hearin ladies blast men..."can't find a good man" rah rah.
In response to that ladies, I would like to apologize on the behalf of
all my Gs for not bein more than what we are. In turn I feel that ladies
is just like us. Err body got shit with them. And learning to accept
that is the 1st step in recognizing what you do have and taking pride.
That's what we do. You don't hear us talkn bout "well bay, your ass
could be rounder" or "damn what happened to all the ladies that cookd
and took care of they man?". Men may cheat, but its not always in search
of something better...maybe we cheat just to have something different,
but we as black men, rarely down play our sisters by askin, "what
happened to all the good ladies out there?" I personally appreciate
women of all ethnic categories. I understand that without no you, there
could be no Ree. Again, I understand that some of these cats aint bout
they bizz as much as we should be, but what about yall? If you want a
better man, then maybe you should change you ways...just a thought.
