Today I wasted my time reading a one-sided story, written by a guy named
Grayson in The Independent Weekly. The story nearly took up 3-4 pages,
bashing 9thWonder (@9thWonderMusic) and fueling the fire with Little
Brother. Why the conflict of Little Brother and 9th Wonder is so
important and entertaining...I don't know. in conclusion, I think this
is just a case of another wack-ass speculator.
1st, what Grayson doesn't understand is that this is a business. These
brothers have worked hard to get to where they are to where. This is our
dreams, our music, our reality, our lives, and you "entertainment".
Sadly, this story was about hate, and is clearly one-sided. Im not
beein' with Little Brother/HOJ/JusticeLeague artist at all, lets get
that straight 1st. I got love for all them brothers. Hell, they all
introduced me to a bigger NChiphop scene than what I was used to, even
allowing me to be in a video, and appearances on several of their
mixtapes. So its all love. They know it...I know it. But right now my
beef is with the author. Why would you slander my ACE, 9thWonder?
I don't give a fuck how the interviews went with LB members...you know
how to eat the meat and throw away the bone. The main thing is, ALL OF
US ARTIST ARE FROM NC AND HAVE UPCOMING PROJECTS THAT YOU COULD HAVE

mxtape hosted by Green Lantern, 9thWonder-working with several famous
artist, meanwhile juggling 2 labels, Phontae- Foreign Exchange, BigPooh-
oh God...this nigga always has something poopn!!!
See that's what I mean. He could have promoted all of these projects
instead of hatin' on 9th and makin' it seem as if "Little Brother aint
the same without 9th"! You damn right!!! Little Brother aint the same
w/o 9th. They are "Little Brother w/o 9th, but they still spittin/still
workn!!! Just as we at Jamla are.
What really sparks my anger is that this guy called me and asked my for
an interview for this story. I told him word for word, "if this has
anything to do with beef with Little Brother, then I aint with it. Them
niggas is my bigger brothers...all of them." Then I went on to say "I
don't fuck around with this twitter internet beef. Rap beef and real
beef are two very different things, and I'll fuck around a hurt
somebody. Im just here to make good music and money"! Dude set the
interview up for that following Saturday...no phone call. He must have
known he was fuckin' with the wrong nigga. in addition, I think his
motive was to get me to bite the hand that feeds me, and ruin my
relationships I have built with LB and 9th (sorry guys when I say LB I
mean all of you guys that I grew to know), also this just added fuel to
a burning fire. These guys know each others families. Yeah I said
it...families...did you forget that we're husbands and father, mentors,
and role models for the youth in our challenged communities? Did you
forget that this NCHIPHOP represents ORIGINAL HIPHOP MUSIC? Do you think
the LB fanz still wanna hear about "the LB breakup"? I know this
much...WE ALL ARE STILL GRINDIN' DESPITE THE BREAKUP OF LB! We all, as
artist have moved on. Why can't you GRAYSON?
IF YOU ARE STILL A FAN OF LITTLE BROTHER, FOLLOW THERE CAREERS, BUMP
"LEFT BACK"(TAKE IT FROM ME, ITS DOPE), FOLLOW 9TH'S CAREER(WE WORKIN
OVER HERE! YALL SEE ME EVERYWHERE). PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT FALL INTO THIS
WEB OF HATE!!! As Tupac Shakur said a while back, "ITS JUST MUSIC". And
ultimately this is our lives, our pain, our thoughts, our music. This is
our state!!! NC STAND UP!!! ARTIST WE HAVE TO PUT NC ON THE MAP!!!!
